It is permissible for the university to evaluate professors through students to identify the best and most productive, provided that everyone adheres to Islamic legal guidelines. Students must speak the truth and not conceal defects related to the work, because concealing them is deceit, and mentioning them is from giving sincere advice (naseehah). It is not permissible to mention professors' defects unrelated to their work or to lie about them; for this is backbiting and slander.
