Does the form of the Ibrahimic prayer (Salat al-Ibrahimiyya) common in Morocco differ from that used in other madhhabs?
Praying upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) is sufficient in any form, though the best form is the Ibrahimi prayer (Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah). Among its forms is what is stated in al-Bukhari: "O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham, You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, grant favors to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You granted favors to Abraham and the family of Abraham, You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious." The form mentioned in the question is valid and authentically transmitted, as narrated in Sunan al-Tirmidhi from Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari.
