Is the story of Umar ibn al-Khattab writing a letter to the Nile River authentic, especially considering that it seems illogical and is not supported by the Quran and Sunnah?

This chain of narration is weak and unsound, due to the presence of Ibn Lahī'ah, who was weak, mixed up, and a mudallis (one who conceals defects in a narration). There is also an unknown narrator in the chain. Furthermore, if a story of such magnitude were true, it would have been widely transmitted and supported by numerous authentic chains of narration.
