Is it permissible for a father to divide his property among his children during his lifetime, and is this division considered valid in Islamic law if he allocates a larger portion to one of his unmarried and unemployed daughters to protect her?

"A child's disobedience (uquq al-walid) does not affect his right to inheritance or his equal share in a gift. If the division of the house is a will (wasiyya) to be executed after death, then it is a will to an heir (wasiyya li-warith), which is not permissible unless the other heirs agree, according to the Prophet's saying, 'There is no will for an heir.' However, if it was a gift (hiba) during the father's lifetime and the sons took possession of it, then it is valid, provided there is justice among the sons. Otherwise, the gift is void, unless there is a legitimate شرعي justification."
