What is the ruling on using the word "always" (دائماً) or "forever" (دوماً), and calling work "the dawam" (الدوام), while believing that only Allah is the Ever-Enduring and Everlasting?

Perpetuity (al-baqa') and continuity (al-dawam) are relative concepts and do not necessarily imply eternal immortality. A created being can be described with them, such as the sun and moon, or rain, or an action, as in the Hadith: "The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most continuous, even if they are few." Continuity in everything is according to its nature. Thus, the continuity of something means its stillness, like the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of urinating in still water (al-ma' al-da'im), meaning stagnant water. Continuity in professional work means perseverance in it. It is necessary to differentiate between the continuity that is exclusive to Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, and what is applied to others, because intention and purpose have an effect on these linguistic applications.
