The answer

We have previously mentioned that Imam Al-Shafi’i used to complete the recitation of the Quran sixty times in . As for the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of completing the Quran in less than three days, we have not found it with this exact wording. Perhaps what is meant is the of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Al-Aas and his conversation with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), in which he said: "Whoever recites the Quran in less than three days does not understand it." The meaning is that whoever recites the Quran in less than three days does not ponder over it or comprehend it.
