There is no objection to uploading permissible content to YouTube and earning money from advertisements, provided that the advertisements are also permissible. The presence of immodest images in permissible advertisements does not cause harm due to the difficulty of avoiding them, and the viewer is responsible for lowering his gaze.

However, if the advertisements are for forbidden things, then the money earned from them is unlawful and must be disposed of by giving it to the poor and needy, or by benefiting from it if one is poor himself. One may also give it as charity to himself and his family if they are poor, as he has the most right to it. A poor person may benefit from unlawful money if it reaches him.
