A wine-drinker is not prevented from inheriting, because wine-drinking is not among the impediments to inheritance. These impediments are: slavery, murder, and difference of religion. Secularism is a broad term that encompasses various aspects, and a Muslim is not judged to have left Islam except after the conditions for declaring one an apostate are met and the impediments to such a declaration are absent.
