What is the ruling on one who swore an oath of divorce not to eat his wife's food for a week, and is it permissible for him to eat after the period ends?

If a husband swears an oath of divorce that he will not eat from a certain food for a week, he may eat from it after the expiration of this period without breaking his oath, because the specified period intended in his oath has ended. This is supported by the words of Ibn Qudamah in "Al-Mughni," who stated that a prohibition restricted by a time or a goal ends with their termination.
