How can non-Muslims believe what is stated in the Qur’an about Jesus, denying his crucifixion and his sonship to God, while the Bible mentions the opposite?

The Fatwa's Summary: The current Gospels are not the book that was revealed to Jesus, peace be upon him. They have been subjected to distortion and alteration throughout the ages, and distinguishing between their truthfulness and falsehood has become impossible except by comparing them to the Holy Quran. Whoever does not believe in the Holy Quran will not have a valid book to believe in. And whoever impugns the truthfulness of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, cannot establish proof for the validity of his religion, because the Quran challenges mankind and jinn to produce its like, and they have been unable to do so.

The current Gospel has no verifiable evidence regarding the identity of its four authors, nor is it claimed to have been revealed to Jesus or written during his lifetime. Some of their interpreters believe that not all sacred books are divinely inspired and that their authors wrote according to their nature and understanding. There are many contradictions among the Gospels, especially between the Gospel of John and the three synoptic Gospels. The Catholic Church has admitted the existence of flaws and invalidity in these books.

Doubting the miracles of the Prophet, peace be upon him, prevents establishing the miracles of the alleged prophets in the Gospels. Arguing for the validity of the Gospel by inspiration, and for the truthfulness of inspiration by the Gospel, is a false circular argument. There is no mention of the Gospels before two centuries after the death of Christ, and churches and their books have been subjected to burning and persecution, which raises doubts about the authenticity of what has reached us.
