What is the ruling on remaining in a job with a manager who requests the deception of customers and the provision of false information regarding the origin of goods, and is it obligatory to leave this job before marriage or after it, knowing the difficulty of leaving it and the need for marriage as a means of safeguarding oneself?

You must advise your friend and explain the prohibition of cheating, lying, and devouring people's wealth unjustly. You must also state the truth to the buyer whom your friend intends to cheat. It is not permissible to remain silent about these abominations unless speaking out would lead to a greater harm. Your salary is permissible as long as you have not lied or cheated. However, if you are forced to lie, then you must leave the job, based on Allah's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
