If the inherited property cannot be divided among the heirs, and one of the heirs requests its sale, the others are compelled to sell, and the price is divided among them. If a sister refuses to sell her share and to buy the shares of the other heirs, then the matter must be referred to the court to compel the heirs to sell. When it is offered for sale, the other sister takes it by the right of pre-emption.
