Do we definitively assert that a child who dies before puberty will enter Paradise?

The Muslim children who die before puberty are certainly in Paradise. As for the children of disbelievers who die before puberty, there is a difference of opinion regarding them:

- Some say they are in Paradise, citing the hadith of Samurah: "He saw with Ibrahim (peace be upon him) the children of Muslims and the children of polytheists," and the hadith: "And the newborn is in Paradise."

- Others say they will be tested on the Day of Resurrection, so whoever Allah knows would have been obedient will enter Paradise, and whoever would not have been obedient will enter Hellfire.

- Some withheld judgment on their matter, relying on the hadith: "Allah knows best what they would have done."

- Others made them among the people of Al-A'raf, and their ultimate destination is Paradise.

- And some said they are with their parents in Hellfire.

Among those who say they are in Paradise, some consider them independent residents there, while others consider them servants to its inhabitants.

It is incumbent upon students of knowledge to entrust the matter of the deceased children of polytheists to Allah, and to focus on guiding the contemporary children of Muslims and polytheists, and thwarting attempts to draw Muslim children away from Islam.
