Can the interpretation of the verse "Then, did they feel secure against the plan of Allah?" be correctly understood, and can the repetition of supplication and night prayers change Allah's decree and destiny?

Resorting to Allah Almighty through supplication, persistence, and humility is one of the best and greatest acts of worship, as Allah says: "And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then I am indeed near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me, that they may be rightly guided." As for divine decree (Qadar), one should not be preoccupied with it; rather, one must act upon the lawful means, for Qadar is a secret among Allah's secrets. As for feeling secure from Allah's plan (makr), this applies to those who commit sins while feeling safe and not fearing Allah's punishment. The losers are those who have gone to extremes in their loss. Allah's plan for them is to gradually entice them with blessings, then suddenly seize them with torment.
