Is it permissible for a person to commit adultery with a Christian woman once and give her her wages when he is away from his family and wife?

Adultery is one of the most heinous and repulsive major sins. Being in a foreign land or far from family and wife does not alter its prohibition. Whoever commits adultery even once has disobeyed Allah and deserves severe punishment if he does not repent.
