ما هو المراد بآية "ألم" والآيات المشابهة لها في القرآن، وماذا قال العلماء عنها؟

Many scholars, including the Rightly Guided Caliphs, refrained from interpreting the disconnected letters (al-Huroof al-Muqatta'ah) in the Quran, and no established interpretation of them has been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Therefore, it is preferable to say: "Allah knows best what is intended by them." Meanwhile, some exegetes attempted to explain them, but they differed in their interpretations. Some scholars sought wisdom in them, suggesting that they appear at the beginning of surahs to demonstrate the miraculous nature of the Quran, and that it is composed of the very same letters they use. This view was championed by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and accepted by Abu al-Hajjaj al-Mizzi.
