Is feeding ten needy people half a liter of milk each sufficient as expiation for an oath?

The expiation for an oath is feeding ten needy persons with the average food one provides for their family, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If one cannot find any of these, then fasting for three days. The amount and type of food to be given depend on common practice. If milk is considered part of the average food of the people in that locality, it is permissible to give it to the needy as expiation. However, it is better to provide milk with bread to avoid any difference of opinion.
