Treat your wife with kindness as long as she has repented and become upright, and forget what has passed, for Allah accepts the repentance of those who repent, and He pardons and forgives. The presence of your daughters calls for the preservation of the family unit. It is wrong for a husband to ask his wife about her past, and it is not permissible for her to reveal it to him. Rather, she must repent and conceal herself, and the husband must conceal her.
