Obedience to parents in permissible matters is religiously obligatory, including obeying them in refraining from marrying a specific woman. Strive to mend your relationships with people and earn their affection through kindness. Remedy failure with determination, diligence, patience, and by seeking Allah's help. Increase your supplications during prostration, after completing obligatory prayers, at dawn, and on Friday afternoon just before sunset. Be keen on continuing your studies, for knowledge is the best means to elevation. If it is possible for you to travel for education or to earn a living, to change your environment for a while and to escape the conversations surrounding you, perhaps that would be better.
