If the deceased left behind only a mother, two brothers, and a father, the mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of the two brothers, and the remainder goes to the father by ta’sib (agnatic inheritance). Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: one share for the mother and five shares for the father. As for the rent of the house that the deceased rented out, it transfers to his heirs (his father and mother), each according to their share of the inheritance, because the lease contract does not terminate upon the death of one of the contracting parties according to the majority of jurists.
