You must be patient with your mother-in-law. It is your right that your husband provides you with independent housing, and you are not Islamically obliged to live with his mother. We advise you to discuss this matter calmly with your husband, and he should gently counsel his mother and explain her mistakes to her. He can seek help from wise relatives and supplicate for her. If the parents are in need of financial support or housing, it is an obligation upon all children.
