Does the light brown color seen by a woman after six days of menstruation count as menstruation or not?

If the brownish discharge occurs before the signs of purity (tuhur), it is considered menstruation. If it occurs after the signs of purity, it is not considered menstruation, based on the statement of Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her): "We used not to consider the brownish and yellowish discharges after achieving purity as anything." The general rule is that any brownish or yellowish discharge or anything else that appears after purity is not menstruation and does not prevent prayer or fasting. One must ensure that complete purity has been observed.
