The phrase "They ask you" (يَسْأَلُونَكَ) appears thirteen times in the Holy Quran, such as in His Almighty's sayings: "They ask you about menstruation," "They ask you about the sacred month," and "They ask you about orphans." Some polytheists and Jews also posed questions to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, such as their questions about Dhul-Qarnayn, the soul, the food that Israel forbade for himself, and their guardian among the angels. A Muslim should ask about what they need in matters of their religion, not merely to accumulate information.
