Does Islam associate parents with God in obedience, based on the Hadith: "The Lord's pleasure is in the parents' pleasure, and the Lord's displeasure is in the parents' displeasure"? And do this Hadith and Mujahid's saying contain injustice towards children and exaggeration in honoring parents?

A Muslim must accept Allah's judgment. Whoever harbors resentment in their heart towards a religious text, their faith is incomplete. If a Prophetic Hadith reaches a Muslim, they must submit to it and interpret it in the best possible light. Whoever rejects a Prophetic Hadith is in great peril. The Hadith "The Lord's pleasure is in the parent's pleasure, and the Lord's displeasure is in the parent's displeasure" is an authentic Hadith. The immense right of parents is established in the Quran and Sunnah, and obedience to them is obligatory in what is good. However, there is no obedience to them in disobedience to Allah or if the child is harmed. A son is prohibited from engaging in Jihad if it is not individually obligatory, should his parents dislike it. If the parents are in need, they have a greater right to charity; otherwise, their permission is not required.
