What is the view of Islam on crimes committed by women?

Islam views men and women as equal, while taking into account the biological and physiological characteristics of each. Women and men are equal in terms of religious obligations, reward, and punishment, except for what has been specifically designated for one of them by Islamic law. This is indicated by Allah's saying: "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life," and His saying: "And the male [if he steals] and the female [if she steals], amputate their hands," and His saying: "The fornicating woman and the fornicating man, flog each one of them one hundred lashes." Accordingly, the crimes committed by females are as heinous as the crimes committed by males, and they are punished for them just as men are punished for their crimes.
