Is it permissible to mention the name of a teacher or public figure without titles, for the sake of brevity and not disparagement?

There is no harm in mentioning the names of the Companions, the Tabi'un, the Imams, and the scholars without titles, as long as the intention is not to disparage or belittle them. There is no objection to simply stating the names of public figures, and by extension, others as well.
