Is it permissible to name classes for teaching the Noble Qur’an after the names of the male or female Companions of the Prophet?

There is no objection to naming classrooms after the Companions; in fact, it may even be commendable to immortalize their names and connect the youth with them. This type of naming is common in several Islamic countries and has not been denounced by any scholar, nor is there any evidence to prohibit it.
