What is the ruling on dedicating forum posts to mentioning only the names of the Companions, without mentioning their deeds or accomplishments?

There is no objection to naming things after the noble Companions, for in it there is a reminder of them and a seeking of Allah's pleasure for them. It may also motivate some to research their fragrant biographies. It is better that this be accompanied by studying their lives and their deeds in supporting Islam and preserving the religion.
