Does touching rotten pears that smell of vinegar or urine defile the hand, clothes, and whatever the hand touches?

Fermentation of fruit often results in the smell of alcohol. The majority of jurists hold that Khamr (wine/alcohol) and alcohol are impure, while some jurists hold that Khamr is pure. Among contemporary scholars, some are of the view that alcohol does not take the ruling of Khamr because it does not intoxicate on its own. One should have washed the hands from the fermented fruit, but there is no blame for what has passed.
