Is it permissible—after repenting and cutting off the relationship with the young man—to supplicate that he be my destiny, and is there any objection to marrying him thereafter?

Satan is the enemy of man; he works to lead him astray and plants the seed of discord in the heart, luring the Muslim into disobedience. For this reason, Allah has warned against him, as he beautifies forbidden relationships, such as romantic relationships between a man and a woman, which may develop into something more severe. Marriage is the ideal solution for those who love each other, and the desire for it does not justify forbidden relationships. Therefore, one must repent and sever this relationship. There is no harm in supplicating to Allah to facilitate marriage to a specific person.
