Marriage is obligatory for those who are capable of it and fear falling into hardship. Whoever is obligated to marry should hasten to do so, and Satan should not deter him from fulfilling his obligation by claiming that he will oppress the woman. Rather, he should marry and accustom himself to not oppressing and to fulfilling rights. He should not abandon an obligation for fear of an anticipated corruption or a possible sin. Whoever is obligated to marry and finds a righteous woman should marry her and not wait for a better one, because an immediate obligation requires initiative. As for one for whom marriage is not obligatory, he has a choice in his wife.
