The young man must sincerely repent and immediately sever his relationship with the woman, blocking all paths that could lead to such a relationship in the future. A child born of adultery is not attributed to the adulterer, nor is he responsible for anything towards the child, such as maintenance or otherwise. How much more so if the matter is doubtful? A child born of adultery is attributed to his mother, and she is responsible for his maintenance and care.
