Do a husband and wife riding in a car together within the city, and their sitting in a room with open doors after the marriage contract and before divorce, count as a legitimate seclusion (khalwa shar'iyya) for which the wife deserves the full mahr?

The woman mentioned is not entitled to the full dowry, as there was no valid legal seclusion (khalwa (definition) shar'iyya) with her due to the absence of its conditions. Being in a car with family or in a room with open doors is not considered legal seclusion. Some scholars stipulate the closing of doors or the drawing of curtains. The wife is entitled to half of her dowry merely upon the conclusion of a valid marriage contract.
