What is a "diblah" (ring given at engagement/marriage) and what is the difference between it and a "khatim" (ring)?

The "dublah" (wedding ring) is a ring made of gold or silver worn on the finger. Wearing a "dublah" or any ring is permissible for women, whether it is made of gold, silver, or other materials. However, for men, wearing a ring is permissible if it is made of silver or other materials, but it is forbidden for them to wear a gold ring, based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, these two are forbidden for the males of my Ummah," and his prohibition of a gold ring. The engagement "dublah" has no basis in Islamic law and is a custom of non-Muslims.
