Is it permissible to take from the building's maintenance fund designated for services and spend it on oneself and one's household?

The matter of taking a portion of money in exchange for agreed-upon services depends on the agreement between the two parties, for "Muslims are bound by their conditions." If an agreement was reached on that, then there is no harm in taking and spending it. However, if there was no agreement, then it is not permissible to take it, because it is consuming people's wealth unjustly, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: ﴿O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves. Indeed, Allah is ever Merciful to you.﴾
