The answer

It is not permissible to damage or take anything with the intention of compensation for wages, or to dispose of tools without permission, as Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due," and "Do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know." Negligence in trusts necessitates guarantee. What has been damaged or consumed personally must be paid for at its value, and what remains must be returned, unless there is permission or custom allows for its use, or if it is something commonly discarded. It is permissible to demand rights and sue the entity, but it is not permissible to seize mosque equipment.
