Masturbation is a wicked and reprehensible habit that has detrimental effects on the doer, both concerning their religion and their health. It is obligatory to desist from it, for disobedience brings no good. Its pleasure is fleeting, but its regret and ill consequences remain. It leads to the disappearance of blessings and the onset of misfortunes, for sins are a fire to blessings and a transgression against the command of Allah. Sincere repentance is obligatory.
