The answer

Drinking intoxicants is always forbidden, and it is even more forbidden in Ramadan. The fast of one who made the intention to fast at night and then woke up for part of the day is valid. One who drank an intoxicant at night and woke up for part of the day, their fast is valid. Loss of consciousness due to intoxication nullifies ablution (wudu) but does not necessitate a ritual bath (ghusl) unless there is an emission. The intoxicated person must repent, perform ablution, and pray, and their fast is valid.
