Does swallowing very small food particles that are difficult to remove from the mouth during prayer invalidate the prayer?

The prayer is not invalidated by swallowing food remnants from between the teeth, whether intentionally or unintentionally. The worshiper is permitted to swallow them, and their prayer is not invalidated, regardless of whether these remnants flow on their own or are carried by saliva.
