Must one make up prayers that were invalidated after repenting from abandoning prayer, knowing that missed prayers must be made up and being convinced by the opinion of Sheikh Al-Islam regarding the non-necessity of making up invalidated prayers?

There is no difference between one who intentionally abandons prayer and one whose prayer becomes invalid due to ignorance or error. For both, according to Ibn Taymiyyah, there is no need for a make-up (qada'). However, the majority view that making up prayers is obligatory for one who intentionally abandons them. The most cautious approach is to repeat all prayers that were invalidated or abandoned.
