What is the response to the misconception that the meaning of Allah’s name "Al-Muqit" is the detested and the hated, knowing that "al-maqt" is the hatred of something, so how can Allah be "Muqit"?

One must be wary of reading specious arguments that corrupt the heart. Those who present these specious arguments are ignorant of the language and the religion. If there were a real flaw in the Quran, the Arabs who were contemporaries of the Prophet (peace be upon him) would have been the first to denounce it, yet they submitted to its majesty and eloquence.

The word "maqt" (مَقْت) means abhorrence, while the word "muqeet" (مُقِيت) in the noble verse is an active participle from "aqata yuqeetu" (أقاتَ يُقيتُ), and it means powerful or preserver, derived from "al-qut" (sustenance).
