Peace be upon you. What is the ruling on clapping for men?

Clapping is not for men, and many scholars have disliked it for them due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Clapping is only for women." It is also among the acts of the جاهلية (pre-Islamic era) when worshipping or expressing admiration for an event.
