Adultery with a married woman is a grave sin because it violates the right of Allah and the right of her husband. It is a greater sin than adultery with an unmarried woman. For the adulterer to repent, he must seek forgiveness from the husband or frequently supplicate and seek forgiveness for him. Forgiving the repentant adulterer is better and carries a great reward, and it is a sign of strong faith. Allah loves those who forgive people.
