How is a marriage contract concluded between a young man and a young woman residing in two different countries, with the young woman's family in a third country, and it is difficult for any of them to be present to complete the contract?

The matter is easy, Allah willing. Once the divorced woman's iddah (definition) (waiting period) is over, she should contact her wali (guardian) to approve your marriage to her. He can appoint someone in her country of residence or yours to marry her on his behalf. You can also appoint the same person or another to accept on your behalf. In the marriage contract, it is sufficient for the one who handles both parties to say: "I have married so-and-so to so-and-so" without saying: "I have accepted her marriage for him," or if he is the groom, he can say: "I have married her" without saying: "I have accepted her marriage for myself," or if he is her agent, he can say: "I have married her for my client so-and-so." Authorization by phone is permissible.
