How should one deal with homosexuals—God forbid—at work, in a way that neither supports their heinous act nor gives them a wrong idea about Islam?

You have done well in your eagerness to treat people kindly and present the true image of Islam. We advise you to be keen on guiding homosexuals and other disbelievers to embrace Islam first, as Tawhid (monotheism) is the most important thing to call to, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Mu'adh: "Let the first thing to which you invite them be the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." There is no harm in explaining the dangers of these bad behaviors and their contradiction to human nature, warning against them, and clarifying the importance of natural marriage.
