The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, owned more than one horse. The first horse he acquired was "Al-Sakb," which he bought in Medina for ten ounces (of silver) and rode it in the Battle of Uhud. Among his horses was "Al-Murtajiz," for which Khuzaymah ibn Thabit al-Ansari bore witness when its seller denied the sale. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then said: "Whosoever Khuzaymah bears witness for him or against him, that suffices."
