What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding a wife contacting a non-mahram man to solve a problem at work, given that she repeats this action despite her husband's warning, and what should the husband do about it?

Islam has organized the marital relationship and established rights and duties for it, placing the guardianship (qawamah) in the husband's hands, but this is a responsibility of stewardship, not tyranny. The wife has been commanded to obey her husband in what is good and lawful, and she has been promised abundant reward for doing so. The Prophetic traditions (Ahadith) indicate the great virtue of obeying the husband, so long as it does not involve disobedience to the Creator. Therefore, a woman must obey her husband and not involve a third party to resolve problems without his permission. If she has done so, she must repent and cooperate with her husband. The husband is advised to be patient and treat his wife kindly, remembering that obedience to Allah brings about the righteousness of the family.
