Is it permissible to exit the state of Ihram during apostasy, and does apostasy invalidate Ihram?

Apostasy from Islam invalidates a ritual — whether it be Hajj or Umrah. Therefore, whoever apostatizes during his state of ihram for either of them, his ritual is nullified, and he does not proceed with it, nor does he need to perform tahallul (desacralization).
