Must a Muslim woman leave school if she is subjected to harassment and abuse because of her hijab and her religion, and faces difficulty in dealing with an educational environment that is incompatible with her Islamic values?

A Muslim must safeguard their religion, and safeguarding religion is the foremost of the five essential needs. Mixed schools, especially in lands of disbelief, can pose a danger to one's faith and honor. If one fears for their religion in such schools, they must seek a safe alternative. If none is found, then it is obligatory to leave studies there. If a Muslim fears for their religion by residing in lands of disbelief, then emigration to a safe country becomes obligatory. If they are with their family, they should advise them to emigrate. During times of tribulation, a Muslim should increase their adherence to their religion and turn more devotedly to their Lord.
