Is it permissible, when watching television, to glorify and remember Allah?

It is not permissible to glorify Allah and remember Him in the presence of manifest evils, as this demeans the remembrance of Allah. Rather, the rituals of Allah must be revered. However, if the scenes are permissible or praiseworthy, there is no harm in remembering Allah and glorifying Him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to remember Allah at all times, and the Salaf (pious predecessors) kept their tongues moist with the remembrance of Allah Almighty in all their states.
